Blood Debt Gun System Shotguns, Skorpion, and rifle-class ranks
Pair the gun to the map. CQB kings die in courtyards; bolts die in kitchens.
Long guns in Blood Debt Gun System: Revamp are the weapons that stop a push or lose the round the moment you pick the wrong range. This page covers Sawn-Off, Rosen Obrez, JTS-225, Skorpion, and rifle-class tools when a lobby actually gives you one. Rank them for maps and gamemodes, not for original Blood Debt killer loadouts. A Sawn-Off that is S-tier in a bathroom is D-tier across a park.
Same honesty rule as the pistol list: magazine size, shell count, bolt/revolver shotgun behavior, and caliber names come from Blood Debt handling that BDGS copies. S-D order is community-reasoned for 17-player FFA and TDM. No fake official DPS spreadsheet. If a number is not a shell count you can see on the gun, we do not invent it.
Current long-gun ranks by job
S (CQB, first contact) — Sawn-Off. Two 12-gauge shells, break-action, compact, fast draw. This is the doorway delete button. Inside a kitchen, stairwell, or metro car it ends the argument. Past a short hallway the spread throws the fight to a GG-17. After two shots you are holding a reload. In FFA that reload is a death sentence unless you broke line of sight. Sawn-Off is S-tier for the first kill and C-tier for the streak unless you play hit-and-hide. See killstreaks before you try to farm 25 with two shells.
A (CQB, follow-up) — JTS-225. Five-shot .410 revolver shotgun. More chances than Sawn-Off, still a shotgun. Blood Debt describes a long-barrel hunting version with tighter spread and a cut-down Obrez version with worse spread and better handling. In BDGS terms: you get more than two mistakes, you still lose a long lane, and a cylinder of five is not a GG-17 mag. Use it to hold stairs and door funnels. Do not take it to a courtyard duel against pistols.
A (CQB spray) — Skorpion. Thirteen-round machine pistol in .32, full auto, dump in about a second. Pocket SMG energy. Hipfire up close, burst in short strings, reload often. The mag is the weakness, not the TTK at hugging range. If you hold the trigger through a miss, you are empty in front of the next spawner. Skorpion is A in CQB FFA, B at any range where a pistol can ADS, and a liability in open TDM lanes. Unfold or clear the stock if the sight picture is junk — the parent game even tells you to inspect/unfold.
A / B (midrange lane) — Rosen Obrez. Sawn-down bolt rifle, five rounds of 7.62-class, one shot at a time. Close torso hits are fight-enders in Blood Debt handling; you still cycle the bolt after every shot and you load rounds individually. That is the opposite of FFA panic. On a long hallway, overpass, or TDM angle, Obrez is the adult pick. In a 17-player kitchen it is a one-kill wonder. Rank it A if you can hold a lane and B if you spawn in CQB every time.
B / C — rifle-class if the mode gives you one. Some Revamp modes and Juggernaut / Stanislav rounds put a real rifle, heavy, or rocket in someone’s hands. Treat those as mode guns, not FFA defaults. A rifle beats pistols on a long sightline and loses a surprise Sawn-Off at arm’s length. If the lobby is Gun Game, you do not get to live on one rifle anyway.
Map pairing
Use Maps as the actual call sheet. The short version:
- Interiors, stairs, metro, apartments, party houses. Sawn-Off, JTS-225, Skorpion. Pistols if you expect the next room to be longer than a pellet cloud. Dual GG-17 is a long gun’s worst roommate: same range, more ammo.
- Mixed interiors with a courtyard. Start CQB, swap mental stack to GG-17 or JS-22 when you step outside. Obrez if you can see a lane and nobody is behind you.
- Long lanes, overpass, warehouse aisles, outdoor TDM holds. Rosen Obrez or rifle-class. Shotguns become trap guns on doors, not run-and-gun primaries.
- Open FFA spawns. Long guns get you killed walking to the fight. A pistol from the pistol tier list is the spawn-to-spawn tool.
If you do not know the map, default GG-17 until the first death teaches you whether the server is a shotgun building or a lane map. That is faster than memorizing a copium rifle pick.
Mode pairing
- FFA. Shotguns and Skorpion for first blood. Pistols for streaks. Obrez only if you can own a corridor.
- TDM. Shotguns on site doors, Obrez or rifle on the lane your team actually holds. Do not teamkill through a spread shot; read TDM playstyle.
- Juggernaut / Stanislav / Infection. Focus-fire the special target. Shotgun or rocket-class tools matter up close; spraying a Skorpion mag into a tank from one peek is how the tank farms you. See Juggernaut play.
- Wild West. Revolvers and Sawn-Off fantasy. JS-22 suddenly looks like a long gun’s cousin.
- Single Shot / Brittle. One mistake guns. Sawn-Off and Obrez feel fair; Skorpion mag dumps feel greedy.
- Gun Game. You will hold every gun on this page. Learn the range, not a main.
- Battle Royale / Prop Hunt. Long guns are for the hunt, not for running. Ammo is a life.

How long guns lose to pistols
A chambered Sawn-Off should win a doorway. It loses when:
- Both shells are gone and the pistol still has a mag.
- You fired at hipfire panic range past the pellet cloud.
- You ADS’d a spread gun while they strafed.
- You bolted an Obrez in someone’s chest and the teammate or FFA third-party arrived during the cycle.
- You dumped a Skorpion mag into the floor and they still had a GG-17.
Reload plus chamber downtime is the whole rank. R then T. Break-actions and bolts cannot fake a pistol’s mag slap. If you want a 25 streak, you will spend more time on pistols than on Sawn-Off, and that is not a hot take — it is ammo math. Come back to the Tier List Hub when you are choosing a default, not when you already hear footsteps in the bathroom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Blood Debt Gun System questions.
Is Sawn-Off the best gun in BDGS?
It is the best first-shot CQB gun. It is a poor streak gun because it only holds two shells. Use it to open a fight, not to farm a 17-player FFA.
Skorpion or JTS-225 for close maps?
Skorpion if you can burst and reload. JTS-225 if you want shotgun pellets with more than two shots. Both lose midrange to GG-17.
When do I pick Rosen Obrez?
When the map or TDM side gives you a hallway you can hold. It is a bolt gun. If you spawn in kitchens every round, pick a shotgun or a pistol.
Are rifle stats in this list official?
No. Shell counts and bolt/revolver behavior are from Blood Debt handling. Rankings are community-reasoned for Revamp FFA and TDM.
How do maps change the rank?
Interiors buff Sawn-Off, JTS-225, and Skorpion. Lanes buff Obrez and rifles. Open spawns buff pistols. Read the maps guide with this page.
