Blood Debt Gun System Eleven modes, four jobs
Learn, streak, cause problems, or onboard — BDGS is not a Debt-mode queue.
Blood Debt Gun System: Revamp lists eleven modes on the game page: TDM, FFA, JUGGERNAUT, INFECTION, STANISLAV, WILD WEST, BATTLE ROYALE, SINGLE SHOT, BRITTLE, PROP HUNT, and GUN GAME. This page ranks those modes for four jobs — learning the gun system, hunting streaks, maximum chaos, and first-hour practice. It is not a ranking of original Blood Debt Debt / Team War / Juggernaut rotation, and it is not a hidden-role murder mystery.
Exact round scripts can shift while the experience sits in a remake pause. Read Gamemodes for the live ruleset and Remake notes if a mode vanished from the vote board. What does not shift: everyone has guns, the server caps at 17, and R / T / U / P still decide whether you are in the fight. Ranks below are community-reasoned from how these arcade names actually play in a BDGS lobby, not from datamined scoring tables.
Ranked for learning the gun system
S — TDM, FFA, Gun Game.
TDM teaches angles, friendly fire discipline, and shotgun-versus-rifle lanes without a 16-person free-for-all screaming into your spawn. FFA teaches spawn awareness, when to chamber, and when to stop panic-firing. Gun Game forces you through the pistol and long gun lists so you stop main-ing one comfort pick.
A — Wild West, Single Shot. Slower ammo, louder mistakes. Good once R and T are muscle memory. Bad as lesson one because a missed cylinder ends the round before you learned why.
B — Juggernaut, Infection, Stanislav. You learn focus-fire and not to peek the same lane. You do not learn fair 1v1 TTK, because one player is a raid boss or a virus. Use Juggernaut playstyle after you can already hit a GG-17 string.
C — Brittle, Battle Royale. High lethality, low reps. You die, you wait. Fine for nerves, poor for reps.
D — Prop Hunt. Fun. Not an aim trainer. Hunters shoot furniture. Props learn cameras. Come here after you can already win a TDM.
Ranked for killstreaks
Streaks mean respawns and a lobby that keeps feeding. The 25 and 50 badges live on Killstreaks and Codes badges.
S — FFA, TDM. These are the streak modes. Full server, constant gunfights, you can chain if you reload behind cover and do not dry a Sawn-Off in the open.
A — Gun Game, Infection. Gun Game streaks if you can kill with whatever the rotation handed you. Infection streaks if you are the healthy side mowing runners, or the infected side if spreading counts in that lobby’s rules — confirm on the gamemodes page, do not assume original Left-4-Dead scoring.
B — Wild West, Brittle. Chaos helps a hot player; ammo rules cut a streak off.
C — Juggernaut, Stanislav. The special player farms, or the lobby farms the special player. Your personal 50 is a different shape of fight.
D — Battle Royale, Single Shot, Prop Hunt. Too few lives or the wrong objective. Do not farm 50 here on purpose.
Ranked for chaos
S — FFA, Infection, Brittle. Seventeen people, no teams or collapsing teams, guns that already kick like Blood Debt guns. This is the BDGS pitch: chaotic PvP, technically an aim trainer.
A — Wild West, Single Shot, Gun Game. Constraints make every shot loud. Dual GG-17 in Gun Game is a war crime against the next hallway.
B — TDM, Juggernaut, Stanislav. Structured chaos. TDM still teamkills. Juggernaut still becomes a door camp if the lobby peeks one stair.
C — Battle Royale. Chaos until eight people are dead and it becomes a stealth game.
D — Prop Hunt. Different sport.
Ranked for new players
If you just left Getting Started and Controls:
- TDM — teammates, respawns, you can watch a lane instead of 16 enemies.
- FFA — once you can chamber without thinking.
- Gun Game — to touch Sawn-Off, JS-22, and Skorpion without marrying one.
- Wild West — revolver school.
- Juggernaut / Infection / Stanislav — only after maps make sense; otherwise you feed the boss. Read maps first.
- Single Shot / Brittle / Battle Royale — extra lives are how you learn. These modes take them away.
- Prop Hunt — dessert.
Do not start on Dual GG-17 in FFA because a tier list called it A. Start on GG-17 in TDM. Move to FFA when you stop reloading in the open. Touch shotguns on interior maps only.
Mode-by-mode notes (no invented rulebooks)
TDM. Two teams, do not shoot your color, hold angles, trade. Shotgun doors, pistol/Obrez lanes.
FFA. Everyone is the enemy, including the person who just spawned in your back. Movement page: FFA playstyle.
JUGGERNAUT. One (sometimes a variant) versus the lobby. Focus-fire, split peeks, close with shotgun or explosives if the mode hands them out.
INFECTION. One-versus-many that becomes many-versus-few. Do not solo-peek the horde; do not trickle.
STANISLAV. Named after Blood Debt’s heavy Juggernaut fantasy. Treat it as a raid on a tank, not a pistol duel. Rockets and dumped long guns beat hero peeks.
WILD WEST. Revolver and Sawn-Off energy. JS-22’s cylinder reload is the whole skill check.
BATTLE ROYALE. Lives are the resource. Third-party the shotgun fight; do not take the first fair CQB.
SINGLE SHOT. Make the first round count. Chamber before you walk.
BRITTLE. Low-forgiveness gunfights. Hipfire panic is a throw.
PROP HUNT. Hunter guns still need R and T. Props need patience, not a tier list.
GUN GAME. Your long gun rank lasts one kill. Range knowledge transfers; mains do not.
If a vote screen is missing a mode after the remake pause, that is a live-game issue, not a wiki invention. Check Updates history and the wiki links for what the server is actually running tonight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Blood Debt Gun System questions.
Which BDGS mode should I play first?
TDM, then FFA. Learn R, T, and friendly fire before you queue chaos modes or Prop Hunt.
Best mode for a 25 or 50 killstreak?
FFA or TDM. Those are the respawn gunfight modes. Battle Royale, Single Shot, and Prop Hunt are the wrong farm.
Is this the same as original Blood Debt mode order?
No. BDGS is everyone-has-guns arcade. Debt-mode Killer/Vigilante/Bystander rotations do not apply here.
Why is Prop Hunt ranked last for learning?
It does not teach chamber timing or FFA spawn awareness. It is a party mode. Play it after you can already win a TDM.
What if a listed mode is not in my server?
The Revamp has sat in a remake pause. Use the gamemodes guide and remake notes for what is actually votable.
Do I need different guns per mode?
Yes. Shotguns for interiors and first contact, pistols for FFA streaks, Obrez or rifles for TDM lanes. See the pistol and long-gun pages.
