Blood Debt Gun System Pistol ranks for Revamp FFA
Capacity, chamber downtime, and hipfire — not Debt-mode killer lines.
Pistols are the default language of Blood Debt Gun System: Revamp. In a 17-player FFA or TDM server, most of your deaths come from a handgun you could have out-shot if you still had ammo and a chambered round. This page ranks the JS-22, GG-17, Dual GG-17, K1911, RR-LCP, and close cousins for CQB versus midrange. It does not rank them by original Blood Debt killer wins.
Handling is copied from Blood Debt. We treat magazine size, caliber names, and reload character as real. We do not paste fake official DPS tables. Placements below are community-reasoned for packed Revamp lobbies: who is still shooting after the first kill, and who is stuck on R then T while two more players round the corner. Pair this with the long gun list and the tier list hub if you are choosing shotgun versus pistol for a map.
Current pistol ranks (FFA / TDM)
S — GG-17. Fifteen rounds of 9mm, semi-auto, low recoil, fast handling. It is the gun that lets you miss once and still finish a torso string. Hipfire is usable. ADS is clean. Reload is a magazine, not a cylinder, so downtime is shorter than the JS-22 if you do not empty the gun and forget to chamber. If you only learn one pistol, learn this one. See Getting Started if you are still dying with a full mag because you never pressed T.
A — Dual GG-17. Two GG-17s, thirty rounds on paper, huge close-range dump. Blood Debt handling: you generally cannot ADS, recoil stacks, and you can fire one-then-the-other or both depending on fire-mode toggle. In BDGS CQB this is a hallway eraser. In midrange FFA it is a spray that tells the whole server where you are. After the dump you reload two pistols. That is when a patient GG-17 or a leftover Sawn-Off shell takes the streak.
A / B — K1911. Seven rounds of .45. Loud, heavy per shot, honest hipfire at CQB, usable ADS at short midrange. It beats GG-17 in a fair first-shot trade if you hit torso or head strings. It loses the stacked FFA because seven rounds plus a reload is not enough for the next two spawners. Treat it as an A-tier duelist and a B-tier streak gun.
B — JS-22. Nine-round .22 revolver, highest revolver capacity in the Blood Debt kit, low recoil, fast draw, one-hand ADS that does not eat the screen. It is consistent, not flashy. Headshots are not a free one-tap in the parent gun’s handling; you still stitch the body. The tax is the long cylinder reload. Empty this gun in the open and you are dead. In FFA, reload behind a wall with a round plan, or swap fights before you hit zero. JS-22 is the pistol people call S-tier until they watch the reload animation in a 17-player pile.
C — RR-LCP and pocket cousins. Compact .380-class pistol, small mag (about seven or eight depending on variant), fast reload, low recoil, weaker torso string than GG-17 or K1911. In original Blood Debt the killer version often wears a suppressor. In BDGS that stealth fantasy is worth less: everyone already has a gun and the minimap is your own muzzle flash. Use RR-LCP as a backup, a hipfire panic gun, or a Single Shot / tight-prop tool — not as your FFA primary.
Close cousins (GG-17 Tan burst, Dual Elites, Kamatov, HW-226, JS-2 Derringy) follow the same rules as their parent: more fire rate or more novelty, same reload physics. If a variant adds burst or auto, assume you will empty it faster and need controls discipline even more.
Pros and cons that actually matter
GG-17. Pros: magazine size, recoil, hipfire, reload speed, default reliability. Cons: per-shot damage is not a shotgun; you must land a string. A Sawn-Off user who is already inside your model still wins the first shot.
Dual GG-17. Pros: CQB volume, two mags of 9mm, deletes a clustered pair if you start the fight. Cons: no real ADS, recoil, ammo burn, double reload, you lose every long hallway to a aimed GG-17 or Obrez.
K1911. Pros: stopping power, clean mid-close shots, fast enough semi to win a duel. Cons: seven rounds, loud, reload in a crowd, punishes spray.
JS-22. Pros: nine shots, tracking, equip speed, you can keep swinging while you click. Cons: longest empty reload in the revolver family, not a one-tap head meta, cylinder work instead of a mag drop.
RR-LCP. Pros: small, quick to draw, short reload, easy hipfire. Cons: mag size, torso TTK, you lose extended trades to GG-17 every time both players can aim.
When a pistol beats a shotgun in FFA
A pistol should lose a fair doorway to a chambered Sawn-Off. It should win the next fight. Take the pistol when:
- The shotgun already spent both shells or is on a long break-open reload.
- The range is a hallway or courtyard where pellets spread and your GG-17 or JS-22 still stitches torso.
- You still have eight or more rounds and they have a bolt or a dry JTS-225.
- You are moving; they planted to ADS a spread gun.
- Dual GG-17 or K1911 gets the first click before they close to pellet range.
- You are on a TDM hold where teammates trade, so the shotgun’s two-shot burst cannot clear the angle.
Do not take a pistol fight inside a bathroom stall against a loaded Sawn-Off, JTS-225, or Skorpion. That is not a skill issue. That is the range chart.
Reload rules win more pistol fights than aim. Leave a round in the mag when you can so a reload does not force a chamber. If the slide or cylinder is dead, T before you peek. Panic-firing the last three JS-22 rounds into a ragdoll (U) is how streaks die; see Killstreaks and FFA playstyle. For mode-wide picks, use mode rankings. For maps that are all stairs and kitchens, the pistol list still beats rifle copium — unless the map is a long lane, in which case skip to long guns.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Blood Debt Gun System questions.
What is the best pistol for a new BDGS player?
GG-17. Fifteen rounds, low recoil, and a magazine reload. Learn R and T on this gun before Dual GG-17 or JS-22.
Why is JS-22 not S-tier in FFA?
Nine rounds and low recoil are real strengths. The empty cylinder reload is too long for a 17-player pile. It is a B-tier streak gun and an A-tier duelist if you never hit zero in the open.
Can Dual GG-17 beat a Sawn-Off?
At the same CQB range, the shotgun still wins the first shot. Duals win if they start shooting first, if the shotgun is empty, or if the fight stretches past two shells.
Is RR-LCP ever worth using?
As a backup or in cramped novelty modes. It loses extended FFA trades to GG-17. Do not treat the suppressor fantasy from original Blood Debt as an FFA advantage.
Are these official damage numbers?
No. Capacity and handling are from Blood Debt guns. S-D placements are community-reasoned for Revamp FFA and TDM, not a datamined DPS table.
Where should I go after this page?
Long gun ranks for shotguns and Skorpion, FFA playstyle for chamber timing, and the controls guide if reloads still get you killed.
